Automotive aftermarket veteran brings senior management experience to industry-leading technology solutions provider
TORONTO - April 15, 2010 - Solenium Group, a leading provider of content management and product imaging solutions for the automotive aftermarket, today announced that aftermarket veteran Chris Nierintz has joined the company as Director of Business Development.
Mr. Nierintz has worked in the automotive aftermarket for over 25 years. He learned the aftermarket from the ground up, starting behind the counter at a jobber store in 1984, before climbing the ranks to occupy a number of prominent positions in several large aftermarket companies.
He is a former Director of Fulfilment for Pep Boys, a major retail and service chain with over 580 stores in the US and Puerto Rico. Mr. Nierintz also served as Director of Product Data Services at Dorman Products, a supplier of replacement parts, automotive hardware and brake products.
Mr. Nierintz joins Solenium Group at a busy time. The company recently launched Visual SKUs, a suite of high-volume, high-quality product imaging solutions. Solenium is also preparing to launch version 7.0 of Talking Pictures, its uniquely powerful Content Management System for the aftermarket.
Claudio Di Sano, President of Solenium Group, commented: "Chris couldn't be joining us at a more exciting time. With the launches of Talking Pictures 7.0 and Visual SKUs, it's great to have such a deeply knowledgeable, experienced industry expert serving as our Director of Business Development."
The automotive aftermarket is much more than just a job for Mr. Nierintz - it is a true passion. For over a decade, he has been a vocal supporter of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), as well as an active participant in the organization's committee meetings.
He has also served as President of the National Catalog Manufacturers Association (NCMA), a prominent non-profit organization serving the aftermarket. Mr. Nierintz, a long-time NCMA volunteer, was on the board of the Association for ten years and occupied leading positions in the organization for most of that time.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Solenium Group has over 25 years of experience providing technology solutions and services to the automotive aftermarket. Solenium's solutions include Talking Pictures, a Content Management System (CMS), which empowers companies to manage, share, publish and distribute product and application data and Visual SKUs, a range of high-volume product imaging solutions for manufacturers, distributors, retailers and etailers across industry sectors. Visual SKUs solutions empower companies to produce high-quality product images, manage digital assets and distribute product images throughout industry supply chains.
